 Tom Massari began channeling in 1972 and was one of the first mediums in California, Illinois, Arizona and Wisconsin to share his channeling talent with the public. 

He is known as one of the preeminent clear channels of today's metaphysics. His early formats for classes and entity interaction are currently used by many of today's well known channels. 

Tom has been featured at The Whole Life Expo in Los Angeles and San Francisco, The Festival Of Lights, and numerous other metaphysical expos. He has also appeared on many radio and television shows throughout the U.S. including Disney's Cables Epcot Magazine and Eye On L.A. He has been featured on Psychic World and Extra Dimensions in Sydney, Australia and was a regularly featured channel for one of L.A.'s largest metaphysical magazines. 

He is the author of  the Focal Point Meditation CD's, Dream With The Angels Sleep CD's and is an accomplished musician. He is also a certified hypnotist, having studied in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.

How it all began.  In Tom's own words:

I moved to Los Angeles, California in 1971 with a band that I was in.  After living in various places, I found my residence to be in Simi Valley in 1972.  I met a girl at a nightclub my band was playing at. She had three sons and in the room of one of the sons, I had on occasion, felt as if someone else was in the room…someone I could not see.

On November 3, 1972, a friend was visiting us on vacation.  As we were relaxing one evening, I asked them if they wanted to go into that room and communicate with the ghost.  Neither of us knew what we were doing or was prepared for what was to happen that evening.

We walked into the room and began asking questions such as, who are you?  What are you doing here?  How did you die, etc.  In a very short time I started to get answers to our questions.  I did not hear the answers with my ears.  Rather, I felt them inside of me.  We were all getting nauseated and had a feeling of heaviness in our chests (classic feelings when there is a presence around) and decided to leave the room and relax in the front room.  They made their way there and I went into the kitchen.  As I started to walk to the front room, I was stopped in my tracks.  I could not move.  I felt a huge electricity all around and in my body.  I told them something was happening to me and to watch me to make sure I was all right. 

Suddenly, someone began reciting Shakespeare through me with an English accent.  For a few minutes it was this other personality reciting Shakespeare and for a few minutes I would snap back to being Tom.  This went on for about three hours.  I was left so physically drained that I was in bed for the next two weeks.  I could not get out of bed.  My friends had to come over to my house and take care of me.

During the channeling, the personality gave the name John Rolfes and told us that he lived in England in the late 1700’s and was a Shakespearean actor.  It seems that he was in an acting troop that used to entertain people as they were waiting to get in to the theatre.

Upon hearing this information I thought, OK, either I have gone over the edge, in which case I’ll get some help and maybe be OK in time or this is real.  And if it is real, I should be able to research him in the library.  So off to the library I went.  In doing my research, I came across the name John Rolfes, Shakespearean actor of the late 1700’s. Then I knew it was real.  Not being afraid of what had happened, I thought that if it happened again I would let it and see what develops.  Well, it did happen again, and again, and again.

A short time later something shifted in the channeling.  Someone else manifested and gave the name Abram.  I was still a drummer in a band and did not know anything about Abram.  For 1½ weeks he would appear to me in my room at night when I was relaxed.  For those of you who remember the original Star Trek series and how people used to get “beamed” up or aboard, this is how he would appear to me.  It would start as a twinkling energy and form into a man.  I was able to see him, as I see anyone else, but at the same time, I saw through him.  It was a very strange feeling to be having a conversation with him as I was seeing the wall behind him!  He was always dressed in a dark blue suit with a white shirt and tie.  Through the entire 1-½ weeks, I never saw his face.  I never heard him with my ears…only in the form of feelings.  I am sorry to say that to this day I cannot remember any of our conversations.

Having no one to talk to or learn from about channeling, I taught myself to be a channel.  It took eight years for me to learn how to get my ego out of the way so Abram could manifest clearly through me.  For part of that time I was doing private consultations with a doctor who was working with a multiple sclerosis patient.  Even thought this doctor was one of the best in his field and highly acclaimed, it seems that he was having poor results with his treatment.  He would come to Abram for advice on how to treat the girl.  The girl was just not improving.  Abram told him various things he could do with the patient, some of which I thought were very weird, and a couple of months later he reported to Abram that the girl was improving very quickly.  Then I started thinking that this was a very valuable thing that I was doing so I would just let Abram say what he had to say and trust that he knew what he was doing.

Still needing more proof that it was real, I decided to allow myself to be tested to make sure it was real (how much proof would I need?).  I was tested by nurses, Doctors, Ministers, Psychiatrists and Psychologists, (some of the best in Los Angeles).  They all agreed on one thing.  This was not a part of my psyche.  It was real.
